Job Responsibilities of XRT + Medical Assistant:

Perform basic X-ray imaging, EKGs, and perform common medical assistant duties with urgent care patients.
Give injections or treatments & perform routine tests.
Venipunctures, EKGs, blood draws, and injections
Take vitals such as pulse, temperature, blood pressure, weight, and height, and record information on patient charts.
Assist providers in performing minor procedures.

Compensation & Scheduling of XRT/MA Position:

Starting hourly rate up to $33 per hour.
Full-time = only three days per week!

Qualifications of XRT/MA Position:

Current XRT permit issued by California Department of Public Health is required. (Sorry, we are unable to consider candidates who do not possess an XRT permit.)
Vocational certificate as a medical assistant is also required.
CPT I Phlebotomy Certificate
Experience performing EKGs, phlebotomy/blood draws, taking vital signs, and IM injections.
BLS certification.
Preferred: Expanded scope, including digital radiography, chest, extremities, and torso skeletal imaging.
