ICU Advanced Practice Provider

Carle Health is seeking an experienced Advanced Practice Provider to join the Inpatient Hospital ICU team at Carle Health Methodist Hospital in Peoria, Illinois. This is an excellent opportunity to work alongside a collaborative critical care team in a high acuity setting with strong physician support and hands on training.
Opportunity Details
• Join a team of 4 Critical Care Physicians and 1 Nurse Practitioner
• Assist with management of ICU patients alongside Pulmonology and Critical Care physicians and providers
• Practice in both a 12 bed CVICU and a 12 bed Medical/Surgical ICU
• Average patient census of approximately 5 patients per shift
• Procedures are part of the role, with full training provided during orientation
• Flexible schedule with a mix of 8 and 12 hour shifts
• Mix of weekday, evening, night, and weekend coverage

Qualifications
• Master’s degree in Nursing with Acute Care specialty or Physician Assistant
• 1 to 3 years of Acute Care or Intensive Care experience as a provider or RN required
• Current Illinois RN and APN licensure or Illinois Physician Assistant licensure required
